  • Provide, operate and improve the Services and digital products.
  • Process purchases, refunds and product access.
  • Prevent fraud and protect our systems.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Send transactional communications and, where permitted, marketing email.
  • Analyze usage, attribute conversions and measure campaigns.
  • Conduct advertising or retargeting where permitted and consistent with your privacy choices.
  • Meet tax, accounting, regulatory and legal obligations.

Cookies, Pixels and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage and similar technologies for strictly necessary functionality, security, analytics, advertising, attribution and site functionality. This may include Google analytics/advertising technologies and Meta Business Tools such as the Meta Pixel when enabled.

You may use available cookie/privacy controls and browser settings. Where applicable law requires consent or an opt-out, we will provide the relevant control, and our live technical implementation should be configured to honor those choices.

Service Providers

Stripe

We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe may process payment method details, billing information, name, email, IP/device information and order information to process and secure transactions. We generally do not need to receive or store your full payment-card number when Stripe processes your payment.

Google

We may use Google products for analytics, advertising and conversion measurement, including Google Analytics and Google Ads when enabled. These technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers and receive browser, device, IP, interaction and conversion information.

Meta

We may use Meta advertising and measurement technologies, including the Meta Pixel when enabled. These tools may transmit information about visits, browser/device activity and conversion events to Meta for measurement, attribution, advertising and related purposes.

Email and Other Vendors

We use or may use an email marketing provider for newsletters, promotions and automated communications. The production provider has not yet been finalized. We may also use hosting, security, video, customer-support, analytics and fraud-prevention vendors.

Sale, Sharing and Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money as a standalone business model. However, some U.S. state laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly. Advertising cookies, pixels and cross-site advertising technologies may fall within those definitions in some circumstances. Where required, eligible users may opt out. The live site will provide a “Your Privacy Choices” or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism when required by our actual configuration and applicable law, and we will process recognized opt-out preference signals where required.

Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information handled, but no system is completely secure. We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including service delivery, business records, tax/accounting, fraud prevention, disputes and legal compliance. Retention varies by category and context.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state and whether the relevant law applies to us, you may have rights to access or confirm processing, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling. Some states also provide an appeal right. Submit requests to support@digitalhomesteader.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may verify identity before fulfilling a request and will not unlawfully discriminate against users for exercising applicable rights.

California Privacy Notice

If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), applies to our business and your information, California residents may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, and opt out of covered sale or sharing, plus other rights provided by applicable law. Section 2 identifies the categories we expect to collect, representative sources, purposes and our retention approach.

Notice at Collection: Before launch, the live site should provide a conspicuous notice or direct link to the section containing the categories collected, purposes, retention information and any required sale/sharing opt-out. If our advertising configuration constitutes “sale” or “sharing” and the CCPA applies to us, we will provide the required opt-out mechanism.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 without the authorization required by applicable law.

Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect online personal information from children under 13. Contact support@digitalhomesteader.com if you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information to us.

Email Marketing

Promotional emails will include an unsubscribe mechanism. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary transactional or service communications related to purchases or support.
